Website - Movie

I am happy to be finishing up with my web page, I have just made the finishing touches and working on the creative strategy. The last few classes I have been working through with Dreamweaver, and getting frustrated occasionally. It's pretty cool to have your own website though, I am definitely pleased with that. If you want to see it go to www.uleth.ca/~tyler.reid. We were just introduced to our video project, which I am sure will be a lot of fun, but have never done anything like it before. I will be working with Jeremy, and we have been throwing out some ideas, but nothing set in stone yet. I am excited to get working on the movie, but even more excited to look at the calender and see 3 weeks left in school.

Web Page Progression

After class today I finished my home page for my project. Its fairly simple but represents me well. I need some new pictures, which I will have for Thursday, so I can continue on with the other pages in the site. I also want to change the picture on the home page to one that is more clear, the front page has to look the nicest so people will stick around on my site. Every class I seem to learn more about dream weaver also, I guess that's what you get when you have never seen the program before.

Web site working

After a few classes of working on our websites and learning dream weaver, I have a start on my own website. I like the templates we were shown, and our practice website. Mine will be similar to that, because we are supposed to keep it simple. Rather than having an education profile, I want to do my own hockey profile, it will be more original and I think I will have more fun making it.

Project Three

I finished "Canada" and handed it in. I am happy with the finished product but curious to see how I got marked. The last few classes we have introduced web site design, which well be our third project. I am pretty nervous because I have never created a web page and don't have the slightest clue how to. I'm sure it will be fun to learn though. I hope I can make an effictive web page that will be a good portfolio or almost like an online resume.

Working on Collage

I am almost finished my "Canadian Collage" which has gone pretty well. Searching for different images that seemed to work together on the Internet was a bit tough, but I think the finished image is good. The collage is pretty straight forward, but I spent most of my time finding colors that work and making the background good. I found that using type on my collage didn't work very well and it would take away from the images. Once again it was good to work with photo shop, and I learned a few more things the program could do, which is always good.
